The Canadian Romanian Society invited you to a pantomime night, Suflet Romanesc, with Dan Puric on September 12, 2015. This will take up downtown, at the Citadel Theatre, with the show starting at 7pm and doors opening at 6:30. We are currently waiting for the Citadel to finish the show interface; tickets can be purchased this starting on August 28th via the Citadel Theatre. This can be done online, or in person at the box office.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 children (ages 6 to 16).

Dan Puric is an actor, essayist, author and Romanian theater director who starred in theater, film and television shows. His pantomime performances were transmitted by broadcasters BBC Belfast Royal College, 3SAT Frankfurt and RTL Luxembourg. He had leading roles in over 22 films and plays. He has directed over 11 plays which took place at the National Theatre "IL Caragiale" and European Cultural Centre in Bucharest. He was awarded 12 awards, including the "Cross of the Royal House of Romania" handed down by His Majesty King Michael of Romania (2009), Grand Prize at the 8th International Festival of Monodrama from Bitola Macedonia (2006), Award of Excellence for "Master of Romanian theater, ambassador of the spirit of the Romanian people, using silence as a universal language," granted by the Dutch company Den Braven (2006).

Spectacolele sale de pantomimă au fost transmise de televiziunile BBC Belfast Royal College, 3SAT Frankfurt și RTL Luxemburg. A avut peste 22 de roluri principale in filme si piese de teatru. A regizat peste 11 piese de teatru, jucate la Teatrul National "I. L. Caragiale" si Centrul Cultural European din Bucuresti. A fost premiat cu peste 12 premii, printre care: "Crucea Casei Regale a Romaniei" inmanata de Majestatea Sa, Regele Mihai al Romaniei (2009), Marele Premiu la cea de-a 8-a ediție a Festivalului Internațional de Monodramă din Bitola, Macedonia (2006), Premiul de excelență pentru „Maestru al teatrului românesc, ambasador al spiritului poporului român, folosind tăcerea ca limbaj universal”, acordat de firma olandeză Den Braven (2006).
